A day dedicated to helping owners understand changing needs and health issues of ageing rabbits and those who have long term special needs. The day will cover typical signs of ageing, disease and degeneration, unpicking inter-related issues, and how owners can help keep rabbits healthy and comfortable into old age. We will also explore adaptations and treatments for special needs rabbits including common issue such as head tilt, amputation, poor or loss of sight, chronic nasal and tear duct issues. There will also be a special session on ‘approaching the end’ and welfare ethics (just giving you a heads up on that: bring tissues!). The day will be led by Twigs and Steve from Parsleys Warren and there will be opportunities to share experiences and ask questions.

Location: 17 Denton Village, PE7 3SD

Timings: Arrive for 10.30am. Finish c4pm 25th June

Refreshments etc: Tea, coffee and a Vegetarian lunch will be provided.
