SOLD OUT Watch out for New Events: Foraging into Plants and Landscape History. Sunday 12th June 2022
For all those rabbit owners who love landscape as well as rabbits and want to know more about spotting the past whilst collecting plants. Walking out from the small hamlet where Parsleys Warren is based we will visit deserted villages, ruined churches, evidence of old field patterns, medieval fishponds, and of course a lot of wild plants. There will be a morning and an afternoon walk with a return to base inbetween for lunch and to discuss the forage plants we have collected. This will be quite an active day with the emphasis on walk and talk but with Twigs on hand to answer questions about wild plants we see on the way. NOTE Walks are on farm tracks and bridlepaths, about 1.5 hours each with some gentle uphill.
