SOLD OUT Watch out for New Events: Year of the Rabbit Celebration: Felting Your Rabbits!
2023 is the year of the Rabbit and Parsleys Warren will be hosting a series of events to celebrate all things rabbity.
January 22nd is the start of the Chinese New Year and we will be starting the year of the rabbit in style with a ‘Make Your Own Rabbit in Felting’ crafting day led by our artists (who will be in residence for the day) Nicola Oldfield.
Suitable for beginners and those who have already attended a felting day. Nicola will lead you in making a ‘loafing’ bunny which you can model on your own rabbit or another. All equipment and materials will be provided and training and advice . . as well as rabbity chat. You are very welcome to bring your own bunny fluff to incorporate into the feltie for added bunnies. If modelling on your own rabbit some photos would also be useful for Nicola to help you. We will also be selling felting kits on the day so you can continue at home (if you want a specific wool colour please drop us a message in advance).
The Felting Day will be held at Parsleys Warren (at PE7 3SD), Sunday January 22nd, a snack lunch (vegetarian) will be provided as well as tea and nibbles through the day. 10.30-15.30
EIGHT spaces only. £35 all inclusive of food, crafting and on site crafting equipment
